Review: ZAKK WYLDE, Otherwise and Jared James Nichols Band at Regency Ballroom in SF

August 31, 2016

San Francisco was treated to a night of straight up non-stop high energy rock and metal last night at The Regency Ballroom. The night kicked off with a fierce set by Jared James Nichols. We met up with Jared earlier this year at NAMM 2016 and we were so excited to finally catch them perform live. They kicked ass and a highlight was the amazing cover of Mississippi Queen by Mountain. Make sure to pick up their latest EP, Highwayman. Check out photos of their set: Next up the crowd was treated to the passionate rock from Otherwise. These guys hit the stage and fired up the crowd. You can’t help but feel the passion they have for their music and you can tell that the stage is exactly where they belong. They have a great way of connecting with each and every fan in the audience. A highlight for me was to see them perform a very special personal song for them, Heaven which is in honor of Ivan Patrick. Here are some photos [Read More]

August 30, 2016

For a Sunday night, it was definitely a packed crowd at the Green Music Center – Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park. Of course, we are not surprised since Hunter Hayes and opener Julia Cole were sure to bring the party to the stage. Julia Cole started off the night with a fun set of her country with a kick music! She not only got the crowd riled up but she belted out her powerful yet fun spirited vocals. She definitely created a lot of new fans at that show. Check out photos of her set by our Rockin Ryan: Just as Hunter Hayes took to the stage, the wild screams from the girls began and didn’t stop until he stepped off stage! He has such a devoted fan base that truly couldn’t contain their excitement. I love the passion Hunter brings to the stage and his music cannot be simply categorized as country. He brings in such great influences of blues, soul, pop and rock into his songs that there is something for everyone to [Read More]
