SPOTLIGHT BAND: Take a psychedelic ride with Bourgeois Mystics and their new video

July 26, 2018

Whether this week has got you reeling with work or worry, it is time to take a mental break. I have the perfect song/video to provide you with a psychedelic escape into a different realm.  The Electro Art/Rock band Bourgeois Mystics have released a creative video for their song Jaan Pehechan Ho and it is bad ass! About the video, ‘ “Jaan Pehechan Ho”  is a raucous take on the Bollywood classic by Mohammed Rafi (from the 1965 film, Gumnaam.) Much like the band, the video is a  brightly colored, eclectic and unique vision. it tells the tale of a future several hundred years after the internet’s demise, where an archaeological bootlegger has discovered content from the popular archaic video hub, YouTube, and edited the disparate clips to create a music video. This is that video.’ Check out the video here: The video was directed Diego Lozano  and produced by Zaalo. It is truly an artistic musical gem. I love the creativity and innovation that this band brings to their music. While other bands are trying to fit [Read More]

We put it all together this year and Myles came up with a great melody for it.” MYLES KENNEDY adds, “The riff is very reminiscent of vintage Aerosmith.
