SPOTLIGHT BAND: Time to get hooked on Australian rockers, The Lazys

July 11, 2018

I truly get frustrated when music lovers comment about Rock n Roll being dead. There are so many amazingly talented bands out there that are definitely carrying the rock n roll torch high and mighty. One of those bands are the Australian rockers The Lazys. This is no new band as they have been pounding the pavement and paying their dues since 2006, “where Leon Harrison and Matty Morris met while playing in local garage bands.”  Fast forward to 2018 and they are making an impact with their balls to the wall album, Tropical Hazards. It delivers high octane riff heavy rock tracks that will grab your attention in an instant. The Lazys are: Leon Harrison – Vocals Matty Morris – Lead Guitar Glenn Williams – Bass Liam Shearer – Rhythm Guitar Andy Nielsen – Drums Genre: straight up, non-stop Rock n Roll Music: Tropical Hazards released on February 16, 2018. The show is all ages and it is one not to be missed.   We caught Juliette when she performed to a sold out crowd at the Independent in 2016. How can we describe a Juliette and the Licks show? Well here is what we had to say about that San Francisco performance:   The intimate venue was the perfect setting to capture the boundless energy that Juliette would unleash onto the crowd. The charismatic energy of Juliette created a whirlwind of adrenaline that ignited the crowd with her electrifying pure raw emotional performance. If you have never witnessed a Juliette concert, well, let’s just say… you truly haven’t lived.  It is an experience that you will never forget. You [Read More]
