SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: Crossing i’s Dotting t’s and the new track, My Nights End in a Disaster

October 2, 2020

Covid-19 quarantine led to such deep self-isolation for many, but you have to search for the silver linings. Many musicians who have been grounded with the ban of live performances, have flourished with writing new music. One such artist is Crossing i’s Dotting t’s. When asked about quarantine, Matthew shares, Quarantine has been great to me. I’m more of a home-body as it is, so it’s helped me to focus on writing and getting out as many songs as I can. That’s my main goal right now, to get music out there.  With that in mind, he has just released another new track, My Nights End in a Disaster. He shares with us how the new track came about,  I wrote “My Nights End in a Disaster” mainly about how there are always those people in your life (friends, family, coworkers, etc…) who are not striving for as much as you are and don’t have aspirations so they hold you back. “I’m hanging from the rafters, while your holding onto everything you know” just speaks to [Read More]

NEW VIDEO: The Nomadic release stunning video for new single, Manhattan View

October 2, 2020

Australian guitarist and singer/songwriter Robert Gaylard brings a unique perspective and vision when it comes to creating music. His inspiration and passion for starting The Nomadic began early on as a child after traveling to many countries like Myanmar (formerly Burma), Singapore and the Solomon Islands. His “nomadic” lifestyle continued on into his adulthood when he began to work for the United Nations in various countries such as: Kenya, Somalia, the Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Israel and Palestine. His travels eventually brought him to New York in September of 2012 and motivated him to pursue his songwriting by establishing an indie rock band. In the year 2019, Rob took a one year leave of absence from the UN to follow his musical passion and focus specifically on songwriting and live performance. The Nomadic released its debut single “Drifting” in September of 2019, “Waiting” was released in April of 2020 and “Beyond Blue” in June. “Manhattan View” was released on June 29th. Ward and Club Manchego deliver stellar new track with C’est Magnifique

October 2, 2020

What happens when two international artists meet at Franco’s LIFA Festival 2019 in Mexico City? A stellar new track, C’est Magnifique is born.  The song is a blend of two original compositions from two international artists. Franco’s Club Manchego (MX) original instrumental song “CLUB MANCHEGO – 1999” was blended with music and lyrics from a song that Ward.band (USA) wrote called “C’est Magnifique”. The two met when Ward headlined Franco’s LIFA Festival 2019 in Mexico City. Ward’s charismatic vocals bring to life his engaging lyrics. The instrumental aspect highlights the retro 90’s vibe and Ward’s music compliments with an equally vibrant modern flair filled with layers of emotion and depth.  Some of my favorite lyrics off the track:   We get lost in a thousand ways So it makes sense We’d get lost in all them ways  That c’est magnifique Mon che marie Oh baby someone’s talking loud My fault faking lately loud   The song release includes a cinematic video with stunning visuals that captures the multi dimensional track.  The video was shot in [Read More]
