Modern Error announce debut album and share new single

October 18, 2021

Modern Error have today announced that their long-awaited debut album, “Victim Of A Modern Age”, will be released on January 21st, 2022 on Rude Records. To mark the announcement, the band has released their new single, “The Truest Blue”. “‘The Truest Blue’ is a duality of audio and visual, expressing the idea of becoming absolute/ the purest version of yourself”, says Zak Pinchin. “Conceptually I wanted to paint the picture of a rebirth into a new world, one of which to reflect on the earth we all inhabit and see it what it really is. I question this life a lot, what it means to me and what it means to others. ‘The Truest Blue’ in a sense is my reflection on the human condition in a brief and instinctual sense. I feel this also translates into how Modern Error is progressing, Into a new world of its own. This song sets us up on a much more honest path sonically. Modern Error will always evolve to the intention of its name”. It is a [Read More]

Palaye Royale share new single and music video for “Paranoid”

October 11, 2021

Enigmatic trio Palaye Royale share their adrenaline-fueled new track “Paranoid,” along with its accompanying knock-out music video, out today via Sumerian Records.  Premiered exclusively with Daniel Carter at the UK’s BBC Radio 1 yesterday, “Paranoid” was co-written by the band and GRAMMY-nominated Chris Greatti (Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD), who also produced the track. Confessional and raw, “Paranoid” presents a spellbinding examination of insecurity and self-doubt, unfolding in gorgeously spectral textures before reaching a furious urgency at the bridge. The band comment on the track, “Paranoid is about all the little insecurities in your head holding you back from living your life. It’s about the doubt and that voice in your head telling you that you cannot do something. It’s about the journey to silence that voice and your fears and to rise above it”. The video, directed by frequent Palaye Royale creative collaborators Harrison Sanborn and Michael Bolton, finds the band in a robust downtown Los Angeles subway scene going about their day-to-day lives, but seemingly losing sense of themselves. The images subliminally portray the [Read More]

October 5, 2021

Bristols Superlove has released another brand new single, “Save Yourselves”. Born at a times when the country was in turmoil with UK politics and social media proved itself once more to be an intense platform to be consumed within. Singer Jacob felt he was being bombarded with too much information, too many opinions, not enough fact and it became a sea of confusion. “This song was just trying to express some frustration in feeling so overwhelmed by everything we watch, read online and see on TV”, says Jacob. “Writing ‘Save Yourselves’ also had us thinking, what would we do if everything absolutely went to shit? I like to think we would both just go and sit in a forest, out the way of everything with a fire going and just laugh at what a state we got ourselves into. We’re honestly so excited this song is actually coming out as I remember listening to the demo over and over again thinking oh my god this song is so addictive to listen to haha, we hope [Read More]
