Jera On Air 2022 – short term line-up changes

February 24, 2022

After the cancellation of the festival due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, this year the party will be bigger and harder than ever! Rise Against, The Offspring, Bad Religion and The Hives are only a few of the illustrious names on the poster loaded with top-class acts, which due to some short-term cancellations had some free spots: Hatebreed, Of Mice & Men, Modern Life Is War, Walls Of Jericho and Dreamstate can’t enter the stage in early summer as planned. But the booking crew found adequate compensation with Comeback Kid, Madball, No Turning Back, and Holding Absence. The last open spots are supposed to be filled with more top-class acts soon. Another piece of good news is that the dutch formation Beachdog was added to the line-up. Tickets for Jera On Air 2022 can be purchased HERE. Split by days the billing is: Thursday: a.o. The Hives, Ska-P, Life Of Agony, Suicidal Tendencies, Madball, Boysetfire, Hang Youth, Malevolence, Bob Vylan, Beachdog, Crafter Friday: a.o. Limbs return with new single & video “Spirit Breaker”

February 23, 2022

US post-hardcore rising stars Limbs have released their crushing new single + video ‘Spirit Breaker’ today. Undoubtedly one of their most personally raw and lyrically compelling pieces of work to date, ‘Spirit Breaker’ finds vocalist Austin McAuley grappling with compounding experiences of loss in his life, the track climaxing with the gut-wrenching lyric “…it’s just the cycle of loss stuck on repeat again“. On this sentiment, McAuley shares: “These words are a look inward to the personal loss I can’t seem to escape. From grandparents, my father, friends and even pets, it’s a looming feeling that I can’t shake off. I’m always worried about what’s going to come next and it fuels my anxiety to an uncontrollable degree. After losing so much in such a short time, I have times mentally, where I become numb to the thought of losing someone or something else”. Specifically, ‘Spirit Breaker’ courses through McAuley’s final conversation with a close childhood friend before his passing due to an overdose. Darting between both the perspectives of him and his friend, the [Read More]

Cory Wells shares new single “Do You Like That You Love Me”

February 22, 2022

Singer-songwriter Cory Wells has released another beautifully honest single “Do You Like That You Love Me”. “This song means a lot to me. I wrote it about what it’s like to be in a relationship while experiencing severe depression, the challenges that brings, and the way it makes you think you’re never good enough. A constant battle with yourself, worrying about things that don’t matter, overthinking everything, and always doubting your self-worth” – Cory Wells Stream/buy the new song HERE. Cory Wells will be out on tour through the US with The Dangerous Summer in March/April. Get your tickets HERE. The European/UK tour was postponed to fall 2022. Get your tickets HERE. Greg Puciato – new album will be released in June – new song out now!

February 22, 2022

Greg Puciato releases his sophomore solo album, “Mirrorcell”, on June 17th via Federal Prisoner. News of the hotly-anticipated album’s impending arrival comes with today’s premiere of “Lowered” and its Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera-directed video. Featuring a duet between Puciato and Code Orange’s Reba Meyers, the four-plus-minute song is evocative of the album’s tone: a medley of raw insight and vulnerability juxtaposed against an exhilarating musical backdrop. “When she came to the studio we had like…zero vocals for that song. I had been a little unusually stuck with that one lyrically and as far as vocal phrasings and melodies”, Puciato explains. “Reba and I had such an explosion of musical and personal chemistry right away, and we ended up writing and recording all of the vocals in about six hours. It was one of the purest collaborations I’ve ever done, in terms of feeling, just really natural and explosive. She really blew me away overall. The combined energy was instant. That song turned into something really special because of that energy”. Puciato once again recorded [Read More]
