Upcoming release: The Seafloor Cinema release self-titled album this Friday

November 26, 2023

Only a few days to go, until California’s The Seafloor Cinema release their brand new self-titled album “The Seafloor Cinema” on December 1st, 2023 via Pure Noise Records. On the new album, the band said “This record really feels like “us”. It’s as crazy, technical, pretty, soft, and heavy as we wanted it to be. We left the studio with Beau Burchell (Saosin) feeling like we really captured a record that described us as musicians, as people, and as friends. Beau Burchell really helped guide us in a direction that helped us capture the sounds in our head. He made sure our personalities were seen and heard within the music he captured.” To celebrate the announcement the band has released two new singles off the upcoming album ‘If This Were A Film’ feat. Onlyfriend and ‘The Lesson (.44 Magnum)‘ feat. Aaron Pauley from Of Mice And Men. On ‘If This Were A Film’ the band said, “This was the first song written for the record. It was written basically right after recording the last album [Read More]

Photo Gallery: The Rumjacks, Booze & Glory and Jesse Ahern live in Munich

November 22, 2023

Last weekend one of our favorite venues in Munich welcomed The Rumjacks to town. The show was originally planned to take place at the Halle, a smaller venue on the same grounds, but fortunately got upgraded to the Werk, which fits far more people. Opening act was solo artist Jesse Ahern. We had the pleasure of catching him live before with Dropkick Murphys. Since he’s been to town before he wasn’t a stranger to the audience. He performed mostly acoustic, so just a man and his guitar, but he clearly showed it doesn’t need more than that to warm the audience up. He promised to be back, so make sure to not miss it. Setlist: The Older I Get, Pray, Miss Information, Daugther And Son, Heartache And Love, Highway Of Life and a The Clash cover “Bankrobber”. Second band, and judging from the length of the set, co-headliner were Booze & Glory. They delivered a highly energetic show and had quite a connection with the audience. Everyone knew their songs by heart and sang along [Read More]

The Last Dinner Party deliver a pure night of ecstatic revelry at the El Rey Theatre

November 14, 2023

November 6th, 2023 was a night that will go down in our music history.  We travelled from San Francisco to attend the first Los Angeles show of The Last Dinner Party at the El Rey Theatre.  The show was sold out and was one of only 5 US shows on their tour. This was a night not to be missed. We first heard The Last Dinner Party on our local radio station Live 105 as they were featuring up and coming bands.  They played Nothing Matters and we were hooked from the first listen. We voraciously searched for more information on this English band and sat in sadness as they didn’t have any shows yet in the US.  We spent months playing their songs and wishing for a time to catch them live. Then they announced their 5 US tour dates and we immediately booked our trip.  We were sure to be in attendance for this event! The Last Dinner Party is made up of  powerhouse females that deliver a baroque-pop-rock style that is [Read More]

Halestorm and Black Veil Brides on tour in Europe NOW

November 3, 2023

As fall progresses, what keeps us warm (besides a cozy fireplace) these days is live shows. One of the “hottest” tours is currently underway in Europe – Halestorm with special guests Black Veil Brides and Mothica.     Halestorm’s latest record “Back From The Dead” was released in May 2022. A few months ago the band shared the 3rd single from that record – “Terrible Things”. To get an impression of their live sound, check out this recording of their Hellfest 2023 shows: Special guests on that tour are LA-based band Black Veil Brides. Their most recent record “The Phantom Tomorrow” was released in 2021. In 2023 they celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their epic concept record “Wretched And Divine”. They shared a fabulous recording of “Lost It All” earlier that year, recorded in London. Black Veil Brides have been almost constantly touring since “Phantom Tomorrow” was released. Mostly those tours have been in the US, so Europe is lucky to have a chance to catch them live now. The 3rd act on the schedule [Read More]
