Metal Act Jinjer Ignites the Stage at SF Masonic Opening for BABYMETAL

July 18, 2025

Metal act Jinjer delivered a high-energy, electrifying set at the SF Masonic, setting the tone perfectly for BABYMETAL. The band launched into their set with a spectacular performance of “Duél,” the title track off their latest album, which has been receiving widespread acclaim. From the very first note, Jinjer unleashed non-stop power and intensity, fueling the crowd into explosive mosh pits and relentless headbanging. It was great to hear so many songs off Duél performed live! They finished their set with Pisces and the crowd went wild.  We last caught Jinjer during their standout performance at Aftershock Festival last year, where they quickly became one of our festival highlights. But seeing them on a dedicated venue stage like the Masonic took their charisma and stage presence to an entirely new level. The intimate setting allowed the band’s energy to radiate even stronger, connecting deeply with fans and commanding the crowd. Jinjer continues to open for BABYMETAL on select dates before hitting the road this fall with Trivium on their North American tour. Don’t miss your [Read More]

The Last Dinner Party announce new album and release new single

July 17, 2025

One of our absolute favorite bands, The Last Dinner Party have just announced the news for their second album. Their second album FROM THE PYRE is set to release on October 17th via Island Records. In addition to announcing the album news, they have released a new single, “This Is The Killer Speaking”. The band share about their new album: “This record is a collection of stories, and the concept of album-as-mythos binds them. ‘The Pyre’ itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate, a place of violence and destruction but also regeneration, passion and light. “The songs are character driven but still deeply personal, a commonplace life event pushed to pathological extreme. Being ghosted becomes a Western dance with a killer, and heartbreak laughs into the face of the apocalypse. Lyrics invoke rifles, scythes, sailors, saints, cowboys, floods, Mother Earth, Joan of Arc, and blazing infernos. We found this kind of evocative imagery to be the most honest and truthful way to discuss the way our experiences felt, giving each the [Read More]

July 17, 2025

British Metalcore band SHIELDS have just released their new emotional new track Red & Green.  Singer Joe Edwards says: “I wrote this song about the passing of my brother and the space it left in the structural identity of my family. Red & Green’ underwent multiple structural and thematic changes. While the initial idea held the core elements, achieving a huge orchestral-like piece with the right nuance took most of the creative process.” Watch the video for the new song here:   Band Members Joe Edwards — Vocals Samuel Kubrick Finney — Guitar + Vocals Alastair Wain — Drums Krishan Pujara — Bass More about SHIELDS Founded in 2012 by primary songwriters Edwards (vocals) and Samuel Kubrick Finney (guitar/vocals), SHIELDS quickly made an impact in the heavy music scene with their viral single “I Just Feel Hate” — a track they re-released in a newly reimagined version in April 2025.
