The Driver Era Leaves Fans Obsessed at Shoreline Amphitheater

The Driver Era made a powerful stop at Shoreline Amphitheater on their Obsession Tour, and one thing is certain, we’re officially obsessed. Led by brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch, The Driver Era continues to raise the bar with each tour, and their Shoreline performance was  spectacular. From start to finish, it was clear this band doesn’t just perform; they captivate.

Delivering a stadium worthy show with a specatular stage setup and  the band brought a full lineup to the stage —including their brother Riker Lynch on bass, adding to the richness and intensity of the sound. Their performance had everything: electric energy, ballads, mesmerizing stage presence, and a setlist that spanned genres and their history. Long-time fans were treated to a few nostalgic R5 songs woven seamlessly into The Driver Era’s dynamic mix.

The night kicked off with an unforgettable opening set by Vale. Vale is from Colombia and the powerful performance undoubtedly earned her a legion of new fans with  her Latin flare. If you didn’t know her music going in, you definitely left the venue as a true believer.

As anticipation built, a massive kabuki drape covered the stage, offering a shadowy glimpse of the band performing behind it for the opening song Touch. When the drape finally dropped, the crowd erupted in deafening cheers, and from that moment on, the energy never let up.

The Driver Era’s setlist was a genre blending journey, showcasing their evolution as artists while also nodding to their roots with a few R5 fan favorites for the longtime followers. Their stage presence was magnetic, The Driver Era  had the crowd in the palm of their hands, delivering every note with charisma and passion. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan:
