Alien Ken is back at it with a new album, Change is Constant which is the follow up to his debut Contact which was released in 2014. The new album is a full on straight up bad ass ROCK ALBUM! There is no smoke and mirrors, gimmicks or bandwagon songs, this is one complete album that will ROCK YOU.
The mysterious and eccentric Alien Ken from Zeta Reticculi/Norway first captured our attention with his debut album and now has us completely hooked with his new songs. Concrete Plastic starts off with a punk angsty intro and then catapults into commanding vocals, chunky guitars and fist in the air rock. Veni Vidi Vici is one of my personal faves and has a sweet blues feel dipped into smoking guitars and high energy. Third has a theatrical dark feel and really draws you in with the inviting vocals that take you on a wild Manson-esque ride, another one of my faves. Let’s be honest, there is not one song on here that I wouldn’t call my favorite! Check out a video for Third from the studio here:
Pasient of a Pasient comes right in with killer lead guitars that grab your attention. The song has a raw anthem style feel that I love. You really become in awe of the talent that this album holds. You can then feel the intensity that Master of Clocks brings as it sets a mysterious, haunting vibe amid trance-like vocals drawing you in closer and closer. The album ends with Number that has a great heavy funk intro and once again, you are rocking out. This is definitely one album that I will be talking about for a while and telling everyone about.
