Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Kingsborough. Today was a bit of a rough day for me so I wanted to feature a band that helped me through this rough patch. So today I wanted to feature the soulful music of Kingsborough. They have an amazing sound that when you take a listen, you might think you entered a time machine and found yourself at a Day on the Green in the late 70s. If I was to describe them I would say they are a mix of The Allman Brothers and The Black Crowes. These are five guys from right here in Santa Rosa and they are bringing their big sound to Bottle Rock Napa this year.
Their songs are filled with passionate soulful vocals, fierce guitar solos, sweet harmonies and smooth melodies. Today, when I was listening to Little Miss, it completely just takes me to a better place. The guitars in that song just danced with my soul and fueled me with energy. One of my favorite songs is Daydream and it has a sound that is like sweet velvety chocolate that you just want to continue savoring. It is a sweet sounding tune that I can’t get out of head as is their hit Said and Done. These young men are amazingly talented musicians and I can’t wait for you to check them out.
