SIXX: A.M. motivates their fans to stand up with a #ReasonToRise in new video

sixx am

We are getting close to the highly anticipated release of Sixx: A.M.‘s first volume of their upcoming double album, Prayers for the Damned on April 29th via Eleven Seven Music. The album’s first single, Rise is truly bad ass and is sure to be the light at the end of the tunnel or the silver lining on the clouds. Whatever challenges you might have or struggle with, this is the song for you. It is an anthem that sends out the call to all and “Rise, Stand up and live your life, get yourself together“.  Lyrically, it will deliver the wise words to take on the world and give you the strength. It is no surprise that it has such an uplifting message since Sixx: A.M., have been known to have such inspiring messages through their music. Musically, it completely ROCKS with high energy that can’t keep you down. Michael explains more about the message of the song,

“Throughout history, some of the most dramatic changes have occurred when people reject the status quo and demand change. ‘Rise’ is about how we find ourselves at a global tipping point and how it is our duty as citizens of this world to come together, communicate with one another and rise up to demand more of ourselves and our leaders.”

After the release of the single, it really inspired fans to stand up and rise. The band continues to inspire a change in others as they release a new video.

To support the bands recently released first single “Rise” of the upcoming album (Vol. 1) Prayers For The Damned , SIXX:A.M. are releasing a companion piece to the single titled #ReasontoRise motivating fans to speak up on issues they feel are important to society. #ReasontoRise isn’t a political video endorsing one political party over an other, but rather a call to action for people speak up and “Rise” up for whatever they feel is important. In a world where everyone has a public forum to express their opinions SIXX:A.M. are encouraging fans to not be passive but use those resources at their disposable to speak out and stand up for something they believe in.  Recently Nikki spoke with Brooke Baldwin on CNN Newsroom discussing the meaning behind “Rise” and the different things he personal stands for.  That interview in addition to others were used to create the #ReasontoRise video.
