Another awesome side project from Disturbed! With Disturbed being on hiatus for the past two years, David Draiman has had great success with his side project of Device and John Moyer going on to play with Adrenaline Mob. This time it is the work of Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan and Disturbed drummer Mike Wengren and they are called Fight or Flight. The band also features vocals from one of my favorite band, Dan Chandler of Evans Blue and Ra’s bassist, Sean Corcoran and completing the band is Jeremy Jayson on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. Together they create the powerful hard rock that is brimming with talent.

Their debut record, “A Life by Design?” is set to release tomorrow, July 23rd so get ready to pick it up or download it. Their first single off of it, “First of the Last” is a kick ass song that has been getting some great airplay and this week was No. 7 on Octane’s Big Uns Countdown. Another song I am looking forward to you hearing is their heartfelt acoustic ballad, “Leaving” which pays tribute the troops coming home. As Donegan says, “We’ve always been pro-military, I really like the message. It basically talks about troops returning after war. Those memories stay with them so the song ponders how they come back to normal life after their experiences.”

They are also set to tour in support of the album immediately after the release. You have to catch these guys when they come to your town. With their combined talent and incredible energy, they are definitely going to be a show not to miss. So get ready to pick up your copy from Fight or Flight tomorrow or head over to Itunes to download it.
