Hinder’s guitarist, Joe “Blower” Garvey has surgery after bus accident

Last week, HINDER had to pull out from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th due to time to recover from a tour bus accident. On July 22nd, they made a post about the accident:

Here is the post:

“Hinder regrets to inform their fans that they must withdraw from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th. Last night when the band was traveling on their tour bus, they were unexpectedly cut off by another vehicle. Members of the band and crew suffered injuries and spent the night in ER. Under doctor’s orders, the band will be taking some time off to heal, and plans to resume their tour on August 10th in at the Miami County Fair in Troy, Ohio”

Then a few days after we received another update and information on how Joe “Blower” has to undergo surgery to repair his cheek bone.  Here is the post:

“Hey Hinder fans! We wanted to let you know that as a result of the accident, Blower is having surgery today to repair his cheek bone. But don’t worry ladies, it won’t effect those adorable dimples. Can’t wait to see everyone at the shows in August!”

We are wishing Blower a speedy recovery as well as all the guys. HINDER has had to deal with many challenges lately but they always overcome all obstacles and keep coming back stronger than ever.  Earlier this summer, they dealt with the temporary departure of singer Austin Winkler and have had Jared Weeks of Saving Abel and Marshall Dutton of Drankmore filling in.  You can read more about that here on my earlier post here  as well as an interview with Marshall Dutton  here.
