T.R.O.Y. set to release their new EP as they head West to record at NRG Studios

October 1, 2015

T.R.O.Y. which stands for The Reality Of Yourself is an American rock band out of Springfield, Missouri and is definitely a band you have to know. They had quite a year as they were chosen as the grand champion of a national Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands competition. It is no surprise when you take a listen to them as they deliver straight up hard rock and roll with no smoke and mirrors. These guys are the real deal and their music speaks for itself. They are set to release their new EP Two Worlds tomorrow and are holding their EP Release show at the Outland Ballroom in Sprinfield. Only days after their release, they are heading out West to record with Jay Baumgardner at NRG Studios. I can only imagine what will come from their recordings with the amazing producer Jay. Check out their song The Reckoning which is off their new EP: We hope they will announce a couple shows here in California when they are out here and we can bring you [Read More]

Homeless Billionaires set to release debut EP Evil Partners

October 1, 2015

It is refreshing to find new music that grabs a hold of you from the second you listen to it and has you immediately wanting more. That is exactly how I felt when I checked out Homeless Billionaires. The London based rock duo made up of  James ( vocals / electric guitar) and Patrick (drums) have a gritty fuzzy rock style with catchy raw vocals. They are set to release their debut 5 track EP Evil Partners on October 26th. Check out a video for their track Makkaroni Western and you will know exactly what I am talking about. Holy hell, that is a bad ass song! Get ready and mark your calendars for October 26th and pick up the new EP. We hope they can make it over to the US soon for some live shows, I can only imagine the energy they bring to the stage. Our Spotlight Band is The Noise Figures from Athens, Greece

September 22, 2015

The Noise Figures from Athens, Greece are our Spotlight Band which consists of drummer-vocalist George Nikas and guitarist Stamos Bamparis. They are set to release to their new album, Aphelion on September 28th on Inner Ear Records. What is great about this album, is the organic and pure sound that was achieved as The Noise Figures recorded the album in 5 days on a reel to reel machine with vintage gear and tuned to A=432Hz which is called the Pythagorean tuning. The result being an infectious fuzz rock sound that will have you immediately hooked! Throughout the economic crisis and layoffs, they persevered and toured extensively in Europe. They comment, We have been challenged over here but keeping on our mission, you know “… The harder they come – The harder they fall, one and all”.   Band Members: George Nikas – Vocals, Drums Stamos Bamparis – Guitars, Vocals Genre:  Fuzz rock Location: Athens, Greece Feature: Fuzz rock that brings out a raw organic nature that is missing from a lot of today’s music Song to check out: Holy [Read More]

Their music features emotionally driven lyrics, catchy melodies, all the while maintaining a ferocious dose of metal and powerful vocals. They are soon to release their debut album, The Shadow Thieves and have recently premiered their new song, Dead Tom’s Dead which was  produced by legendary metal producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada). The song is amazing and vocalist Corey Prokowiew had this to say about the track. “I wrote this song during a time of grief when I had to say farewell to somebody close to my heart. The concept behind “Dead Tom’s Dead” involves how unexpected loss in a family, or in any relatable situation, can lead to a lot of self-blame, self-realization, and sometimes even self-harm.
