For our Band of the Day, I hope you are ready for a much needed dose of straight up 80’s inspired rock and roll! Allow me to introduce you to the hard rock glam band, Sleazer from Costa Rica. These guys have an incredible sound that have me reminiscing over long nights on the Sunset Strip back in the 80’s. But what is more exciting is that it they are a current band that is delivering the 80’s inspired rock with their own modern hard rock flair. Our Band of the Day is A New Way To Live Forever

  Today I wanted to introduce you to a new band that is truly delivering a positive message along with their driving indie rock music. They are A New Way To Live Forever which was formed by Russ Rogers of The Numb Ones fame. The band is ready to grab your attention with their new EP, Monument. Russ comments on how he started the band, “At the end of The Numb Ones the band dissolved and I started a band with my then wife called Kill Miss Pretty which was an electro-punk band down here in Florida and I wrote everything for that too but I had her for a singer.  We did one show and then on a whim we dressed up as Alice in Wonderland so then from then on every show was a different theme like “We’re all going to be penguins” and from there we started gathering a lot of momentum.  From there my buddy Scott who was the original guitar player from Marilyn Manson joined the band in its last year.  [Read More]

  Today’s Band of the Day goes to metal/hard rockers Cracked Alice.  Hailing from New York City, these four are ready to deliver a much needed dose of hard rock with powerful vocals and heavy guitars. They have just released their new single Misery which is from their sophomore CD, Soul Debris. Misery has been climbing the charts on the CMJ Loud Rock Music Charts. Our Band of the Day is The Phoenix Within

  Today’s Band of the Day goes to acoustic indie rockers The Phoenix Within.  When you take a listen to them, you can’t help but be drawn to the emotions that their songs bring out. They express such honesty and vulnerability in their music. For example, my favorite track, Sharks and it is wrapped in beautiful sentiment. It is quite astounding at how infectiously catchy that song really is! Take a listen and you will agree. They will soon be releasing their new EP Natalie Rose later this summer. Another exciting thing is that they are looking to perform on the Ernie Ball Stage during Vans Warped Tour.
