  Today’s Band of the Day goes to metal/hard rockers Cracked Alice.  Hailing from New York City, these four are ready to deliver a much needed dose of hard rock with powerful vocals and heavy guitars. They have just released their new single Misery which is from their sophomore CD, Soul Debris. Misery has been climbing the charts on the CMJ Loud Rock Music Charts.   Today’s Band of the Day goes to acoustic indie rockers The Phoenix Within.  When you take a listen to them, you can’t help but be drawn to the emotions that their songs bring out. They express such honesty and vulnerability in their music. For example, my favorite track, Sharks and it is wrapped in beautiful sentiment. It is quite astounding at how infectiously catchy that song really is! Take a listen and you will agree. They will soon be releasing their new EP Natalie Rose later this summer.   Today’s Band of the Day is the young talented 11 year old rock duo, V2 (pronounced V Squared). These young boys have been garnering a lot of well deserved attention for their hard hitting rock music.   Today’s Band of the Day comes from Bogota, Colombia. They are Blue Haunted Fish and they are a welcome breath of fresh rock n roll air. They bring out a very alternative modern edge to their music, infusing it with theatrical elements that not only captivate you, but have you instantly addicted. I love the creativity this band brings to their music. They are forging ahead creating their own signature sound and style.
