Little Stranger at BottleRock Napa 2023

  Born and raised in Philly, crash landed in Charleston, Kevin and John Shields are breaking into previously uncharted waters with their quirky indie hip-hop group, Little Stranger. More about Little Stranger: Between John’s melodic singer-songwriter magnetism, Kevin’s in-your-face delivery, and an overall undeniable groove, this duo is sure to get any audience up and moving. Stylistically reminiscent of Gorillaz and Odelay-era Beck, Little Stranger delivers a fresh take on melodic hip-hop. Every track brings the uniqueness and strangeness that their name implies. For the past few years, the duo has perfected their live performance by playing over 100 shows per year prior to the coronavirus shutdown. The group also puts a big focus on creating arresting visual experiences through their music videos, their own eccentric television program (LSTV), and in-house graphics.   Smashing Pumpkins at BottleRock Napa 2023 delivered a flawless set, left us asking what year was it? They sounded on point and just as good as in the 90’s.  They continue to bring their artistry to life with their music and captivate the audience. The 502s at BottleRock and catch then out on tour

When you want a crowd to get up and move, just make sure to have The 502s performing! They brought the fun in the sun to BottleRock and got the crowd off their feet to dance and groove. “The 502s’ sound can be described as a combination of the familiar folk pop singalongs of The Lumineers with the swelling instrumental energy of Paul Simon’s Graceland. JACK in San Francisco at The Independent

The Blue Stones returned to San Francisco last week for their show at The Independent and once again they brought incredible openers; The Velveteers and JACK. We were glad to arrive early because JACK blew us away with their set. Singer Songwriter Jack Osborn had a charismatic energy that was highlighted with each song he sang. The Velveteers ROCK The Independent in San Francisco!

    One of the up and coming bands we have been following The Velveteers made it to San Francisco this past week. They were opening up for The Blue Stones at the Independent.  We have heard so many rave reviews about their live shows that we couldn’t wait to finally experience it ourselves.  One thing is certain, they exceeded our high expectations for a full on ROCK SHOW! The energy of the dueling drums and the shredding guitar with captivating vocals had us completely mesmerized from start to finish.  They had the crowd in awe of their performance as the adrenaline raced through the room and the fans reciprocated with screams and cheers. It was a mighty set that we will not soon forget.
