Cory Wells live at Club Cord in Munich with Luke Rainsford

California based solo musician Cory Wells released his first full-length record ‘The Way We Are’ late last year. I found out about this artist through a suggestion on youtube. The intensity and feelings in his songs blew me away back then. We had the chance to cover one of his first performances in Germany when he opened for Dashboard Confessional last November. As we are still reeling from covering the Greta Van Fleet show in Las Vegas, our exhilaration has been lifted to a new level with GVF’s performance in San Francisco. Maggie Rogers; Beauty and Light personified, delivers spellbinding performance at Greek Theater

Last Friday evening at the Greek Theater in Berkeley was the place to be.  The majestic setting of the Greek Theater was the perfect backdrop for the beauty and dazzling performance by Maggie Rogers. We first saw Maggie Rogers perform at Outside Lands just two years ago and we knew she would be well on her way to the top. Selling out the Greek Theater, no problem for her. There is no stopping the effervescent and mesmerizing Maggie Rogers. Show after show, she exceeds our expectations and delivers spot on spellbinding performances. Her vocals captivated the audience and you could feel a positive energy race through the crowd. Combichrist, Soulfly and Rave The Requiem live in Munich at the Backstage August 7th, 2019

After an extensive tour through the US in April and May 2019 with over 40 dates, Combichrist went over the great pond to continue their ‘One Fire’ tour through Europe and the UK in June, July and August 2019. We were lucky to catch the band live in Munich on August 7th. It was the only double-headliner show the band did with Soulfly, well-known through it’s frontman Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura). Opening act was a Swedish band called ‘Rave The Requiem’. While unknown to most of the people, they could easily win over the crowd. Their performance was very energetic with an amazing female vocalist Jenny Fagerstrandh. Her voice complements the bands vocalists’ and guitarists’ Filip Lönnqvist. Him also being the founder of the band. RTR released their latest record ‘FVNERAL’ in October 2018. Make sure to check them out live, if you get a chance.
