September 28, 2017

From the Canadian city of Oakville, Seaway made their way in a van stopping along the way to make their punk rock presence know where they go. Their energetic beats and rythmes remind you of the older bands of Weezer and Third Eye Blind but to your surprise they make it their own and own it. With their just release album, Vacation, out in stores they were sure to not disappoint. And being in Berkeley where everyone know of Green Day, Seaway wants to keep the Punk/Rock anthem doing strong. Their catchy tunes of “Something Wonderful and “Lula on the Beach” got the crowd singing and festive while being those songs that replay in your head. PST LA/LA concert at the Hollywood Bowl – three headliners, one message: Latin pride.

September 21, 2017

Patrick O’Heffernan (Hollywood) Las familias lined up early at the entrance gates to the Hollywood Bowl Sunday night. Padres, madres, niños and niñas, abuellos and abuelas and many, many amigos and amigas.  Some carried picnic baskets and cold chests, some carried delicious smelling shopping bags, others were planning their orders of gourmet dinners and wine from the roving waiters inside. The air was filled with excitement in Spanish, English and Spanglish as people talked about how amazing it was that in one night they would experience three of the biggest names in Latino American Music – the fusion music birthed by Latino-Americans and their brothers and sisters throughout the world.   There were young men and women in Café Tacvba and Mon Laferte t-shirts, little girls in their La Santa Cecelia petticoats, and flowered crowns that lit up like halos on heads of all ages. They were ready for a concert the likes of which LA had never seen before, one with three Latino headliners at the city’s magical Hollywood Bowl. The 17,500 people [Read More]

PHOTO GALLERY of Florida Georgia Line at Concord Pavilion by Sean Liming

September 19, 2017

Nelly got the crowd going and sure made one little girl’s night. He pulled her on stage and sang to her. The cute girl was maybe in middle school with tears down her face with excitement. With the crowd peaking with excitement, Florida Georgia Line sent the crowd into a frenzy. They hit the crowd with a bang. The stage was built to go out into the pit in multiple directions. Florida Georgia Line stopped the concert and sure made one guys life by handing him an acoustic guitar they just played with their signatures. If he didn’t know how to play a guitar, he sure will now. This fun country band is all smiles and fun. It was just a job for them or just singing to get their message sent, they wanted to have just as much fun as the fans were. With a bottle of whiskey each, the cheers to fans at the Concord Pavilion.   Check out the photo gallery: ~ Photography by: Sean Liming Photography Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SeanLimingPhotography/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/s.liming/
