Successful Petaluma Music Festival celebrates 10 years of Keeping the Music in the Schools

The 10th Annual Petaluma Music Festival was quite a success this past weekend. The festival featured 14 bands on 4 stages, variety of specialty food and drinks, Kids area, silent auction and much more. The festival raises money to insure keeping the music in the schools. All proceeds benefit the music education programs of all Petaluma area public schools. The festival kicked off at 11:30 and the crowds continue to grow throughout the day. It was a kid friendly event that featured everything you could want at a festival; exceptional entertainment, great food, Lagunitas brewing, Kids area, multiple stages, Guitar raffle, Festival merchandise and much more. Barb Wire Dolls close out Warped Tour with stellar set, announcing new tour Tuesday!

Barb Wire Dolls continue their rise! One of our favorite bands, Barb Wire Dolls consistently delivered sought after sets at Vans Warped Tour this summer. It was 2015, the first time we saw Barb Wire Dolls perform at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco and they left quite an impression on us. We were emphatically hooked on their high-intense adrenaline raising sets and there has been no slowing down for them since then. With successful residencies at The Whiskey in Hollywood and sold out shows, it was no surprise that they would embark on Vans Warped Tour this past summer. Andy Black, a Warped Tour highlight. This year’s Vans Warped Tour had quite a variety of artists to choose from and insured something for everyone. As we begin our feature on our spotlight Vans Warped Tour artists, we kick it off with Andy Black. Andy was a summer highlight for so many on this year’s Warped Tour. He continued to grace the lists of Must-See Bands and Favorite Sets. We. of course had to wait until the very last few dates to get our Andy Black fix in and it was every bit worth it. Andy delivered a high energy set that had the crowd mesmerized from start to finish. He had ultimate swagger as he controlled the set with his commanding performance. Colbie delighted her fans with a stellar set that had everyone singing along. Her bubbly personality captivated the crowd as her voice resonated throughout the venue. The Luther Burbank Center provides an excellent sound system that insured a quality performance to every seat in the venue.You could feel the emotion that Colbie brings to her songs, the same as if you were in the first row or if in the balcony. John Mayer brought his Search For Everything Tour to Mountain View and performed for a packed venue. The Tour features each concert comprised of full band, solo acoustic and John Mayer Trio sets of music. You are treated to over 2 hours of John Mayer music and you couldn’t get any happier! Coming together for beautiful music. The venue was filled with an audience that ranged in age, style, sex, culture and more. Blackberry Smoke returns to Fillmore San Francisco. Blackberry Smoke Fillmore Show. They returned to San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore for a night of incredible awe-inspiring rock. They continue to garner high praise for their straight-up-no-frills rock n roll. Blackberry Smoke have successfully fused a blend of music styles and have cemented their infectious signature sound that has us all captivated. It is nostalgic yet timeless, it’s Southern Rock and smooth blues, country and rock combined. Whatever you want to call it, it is just DAMN FINE MUSIC! Avenged Sevenfold in Mountain View. What an incredible night at the Shoreline Amphitheater as Avenged Sevenfold brought The Stage World Tour to Mountain View. Avenged Sevenfold are currently out on tour in support of their latest album, The Stage. They brought their larger than life stage set up to Shoreline and it was epic. The over the top stage design featured sets of massive screens and endcap screens. The screens would feature creative animated clips, videos as well as live performances. Of course, they also had some fiery hot pyrotechnics. Each tour, they truly outdo themselves. The band sounded solid and spot on from start to finish. The crowd, continuously on their feet, with fists in the air were screaming along to the extensive set list of old and new songs.
