Pick up the new single, Savage Eyes by The Relapse Symphony and crank it up loud!

June 10, 2014

The release of the debut LP by The Relapse Symphony  is less than a month away! What is awesome is that they have just released another song, Savage Eyes from their upcoming album, Shadows which is set to release on July 8th via Standby Records. We have had nothing but high praises for this amazing album. Check out our full album review here. Their first single, We Are The Broken was released and had everyone talking and begging for more! Well of course, they have answered the demand and released Savage Eyes. This track is one of my favorites off the album. It transitions from a heavy metal intro into a hard rock heavy track complete with blazing guitar riffs, amazing vocals, and infectious harmonies. You will be hooked on this one as well.  I can’t wait for the release of the album since it truly is a work of art by these young talented musicians. You can pick it up the new track here on iTunes. Check it out below and crank it up loud:   We had the [Read More]

Butcher Babies at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for Golden Gods Tour

June 8, 2014

This weekend was once again filled with incredible shows to cover and incredible sets by many awesome bands, check out our coverage of Devil You Know here and Black Label Society here. Friday night we were at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. The night started off with a fierce set by one of my favorite bands, Butcher Babies. We had a blast covering them last year at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and were glad to see them back. This band is never short on energy as they were determined to start the night off with a bang. The crowd was packed and I believe it was a sold out, or nearly sold out show. The best part was that everyone got there early enough to catch the full set of Butcher Babies. Vocalists Heidi and Carla truly know how to command the audience as they had everyone under their Butcher Babies spell. Check out the photos of our Rockin Ryan here of their set: We are so [Read More]

Interview with Charming Liars and get ready for new music!

June 5, 2014

Charming Liars is one British/American band that you have to know! They have had quite a successful year touring last year and we had the chance to catch them on the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival. We were immediately drawn into their charismatic personalities and energetic sets. Several of the members have since relocated from London and call Los Angeles home now. They played a lot of the great venues in Los Angeles and everyone began to take notice of them. They soon worked with legendary producer Bob Rock and released their new EP “We Won’t Give Up” on May 19th. The EP is filled with five great tracks that are fun alternative rock style songs. You will get hooked on them and find yourself singing along in no time! We had the chance to talk with vocalist Charlie Cosser and are pleased to bring that interview to you here:   As we discussed in the interview, they are going to be busy working on new music, making music videos and heading out on the road. A Hero To Fall is the answer to your need for some heavy new music!

June 4, 2014

We featured a local Santa Rosa band, A Hero To Fall last month as they were chosen as one of the 25 Bands competing for a record contract with KBB Records (New Label by Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce and Kyle Borman). We are still waiting to hear if they have been chosen as one of the 10 bands to make it on the KBB Records Digital Summer Sampler, fingers crossed!  Sunday night we headed to San Francisco to catch Cherri Bomb perform at the DNA Lounge. What a spectacular set they played, make sure to read our post about it. To our delight, one of the opening bands, was A Hero To Fall.  We had the chance to talk with the band before their set and are pleased to bring that interview to you here: They had to deal with some set up issues which is pretty typical when you perform in the upstairs Above DNA. It is really a smaller stage and sometimes takes a while for set up. But they pulled it through and [Read More]

June 4, 2014

Sunday night we trekked down to San Francisco to catch Cherri Bomb play at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. It was a night filled with great bands, many were from Santa Rosa like us. All the bands were great and will bring you individual coverage on them to include, Oh! The Horror, A Hero To Fall, Chapters, and Awoken Shadows. Cherri Bomb is: We had the chance to talk with Cherri Bomb before their set and are pleased to bring that interview to you here: Now, let me tell you about the spectacular set that Cherri Bomb performed. These four have infectious charismatic personalities that perfectly translate through their music. The crowd was instantly jolted with energy as they took the stage. They were playing at the Above DNA and as I have told you before it is very limited on stage size but these four dominated it.   Miranda not only holds down the rhythm guitar but delights us as she plays the keyboard and also should receive high praise for her powerful [Read More]
