What a week of news for the bad ass bassist, Max Green. Just a couple days ago, we announced that Max was leaving Escape The Fate. You can read that post here. That is all there is to it.  The idea of combining NASA photography and video from space with music and dance is sheer genius. That’s exactly what he did in creating the live performance known as Bella Gaia – “Beautiful Earth” now on its world tour.    Bella Gaia shows how humans and nature are connected, and how art and science are connected while it explores the relationship between human civilization and our ecosystem through time and space in a music and dance performance like no other.  The video is stunning, the music is mesmerizing, the dancers and the costumes rival those of major city opera companies. Not many bands today can boast of an audience that has interests ranging from ska, funk, jazz, punk, hip hop, rap and so much more. One band that is certain to draw an eclectic crowd who are pure music lovers of all styles of genres is Forrest Day. Forrest Day is our Bay Area treasure of a band but their fanbase has rapidly grown and they have fans from all over the country and even internationally.  One thing is for sure, when you see them perform live, you are instantly hooked. Heaven’s Basement returns to the US for Festival tour Dates and more!

2013 was a KICK ASS year for UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement and 2014 is proving to be another spectacular year for them as they are in high demand.  They recently returned to the UK for their “Welcome Home” Headlining tour and had to cancel several dates on the tour due to mandated vocal rest for vocalist Aaron Buchanan. They are set to return back to the US for this year’s Rock on The Range and Rocklahom festivals and more. Check out upcoming tour dates here:   In other Heaven’s Basement news,  guitarist Sid Glover is up for the Metal Hammer“Dimebag Darrell Shredder” Golden God award.  Metal Hammer‘s awards are June 16.
