PHOTO GALLERY: Greta Van Fleet delivers unparalleled performance in San Francisco

As we are still reeling from covering the Greta Van Fleet show in Las Vegas, our exhilaration has been lifted to a new level with GVF’s performance in San Francisco. (If you missed it, check out our photo gallery and review of the Las Vegas Sept. 27th show here). Last night, we were excited to catch GVF perform in our hometown to a massive crowd at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Fans lined up early, some arrived in the wee hours of the morning, ready to ride the rail of today’s hottest rock band. After you have experienced a Greta show, you fully understand wanting to be right up close and personal, to experience the energy and charisma that the band delivers to their fans. But fear not, whether you are riding the rail or kicking it in the back, you are treated to one hell of a ROCK SHOW when Greta Van Fleet performs. And when it’s over, all you are thinking is, “When is the next show?”

Last night was no exception as the band delivered a spot on spectacular performance that had the crowd cheering nonstop. The energy that these four young men bring to the stage is unrivaled in today’s music scene. They have truly honed their craft to extraordinary levels and their live performances capture it all. Each member is highlighted and featured throughout the night leaving fans in awe. Whether it be Danny’s thunderous drum solo in Safari Song, Sammy’s organ playing in Age of Man as well as his bad ass bassery on Highway Tune intro, or Jake playing guitar behind his head  or using the mic stand as a guitar slide, or Josh belting out his powerful vocals that just grabs a hold of your soul, you can’t help but revel in their glory.

Each show is like no other and for the SF show, the band treated the crowd to a snippet of Going to San Francisco and the venue erupted in high accolades.  This weekend Greta Van Fleet are heading to Los Angeles to perform two nights at the Hollywood Palladium. I wonder if they will treat us to a song about LA. LA Woman, maybe?? Who knows, but I hope you will be there to check it out!

Check out the photos from last night’s show by our Rockin Ryan:

“In addition to the music, Greta Van Fleet brings a message of hope as they spread peace, love and unity. Their fans are some of the best in the music scene. It is truly a family or Army as they are called. Wherever you are, at work, a concert, or hanging around your town, when you see someone that has a Greta shirt on, your social circle instantly widens. The camaraderie among the fans have forged long lasting friendships that will stand the test of time.”
