The Kooks returned to the Bay Area with an amazing show at the Fox Theater in Oakland this past Friday, March 22nd. The US Tour included The Vaccines and wrapped up in Oakland with a show not to be missed.
The night opened with Daisy the Great which were super awesome and had a surprising amount of fans in support. The band’s energy definitely could have them headlining in no time. Being childhood friends was highlighted with their chemistry on stage. Check out some photos of their set by Eddie Grogg:

The crowd was ready when The Kooks hit the stage. Photographer Eddie Grogg commented, “They still fu*king got it!” and believe me they truly do!
“The set was highlighted with what I thought the best song of the night, first encore song Around Town; they absolutely blew the roof off and had the whole place jumpin. Of course Naive was their most popular song of the night and had everyone singing along, but I think Around Town caught everyone by surprise in a good way. The Kooks have been one of my favorite bands ever since I was in middle school. was a dream show.”
