This Thursday: Boz Scaggs with special guest The Robert Cray Band in Rohnert Park

This Thursday, July 14th Boz Scaggs will be performing at the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park. Also performing will be special guest The Robert Cray Band. Boz Scaggs, with his unmistakable sly drawl has captivated audiences worldwide with hits including “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle”. Together with blues-rock guitar powerhouse Robert Cray and his band, they are sure to rock the stage in this dynamite double bill of two masterful bluesman.

About the Green Music Center:

Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Northern California’s esteemed wine country, the Green Music Center (GMC) is a focal point for arts in the Northern San Francisco Bay Area, presenting year-round programming of premiere classical, contemporary, jazz, chamber and world music artists in concert. The GMC campus includes the 1,400-seat Weill Hall, the intimate 240-seat Schroeder Hall, as well as the highly unique summertime concert-going experience of Weill Hall + Lawn.

WEILL HALL PERFORMANCES
The 2016–17 MasterCard Performance Series in Weill Hall runs from October 1, 2016 through May 5, 2017 and features artists ranging from orchestras; chamber ensembles; violinists, pianists and vocalists; as well as jazz, world music and ethnic dance.

SCHROEDER HALL PERFORMANCES
Schroeder Hall’s 2015–16 season features a wide variety of performances including the Sundays at Schroeder series on Sunday afternoons, the Saturday Cabaret series on Saturday nights, Musicians from the Valley of the Moon Festival series on Saturday afternoons featuring Bay Area musicians performing 18th- and 19th-century music on period instruments.

WEILL HALL + LAWN PERFORMANCES
Summer Weill Hall + Lawn performances run from July through September  and offer the unparalleled experience to enjoy performances either in the 1,400-seat Weill Hall, at tables on one of the grassy terraces, or on your own blankets or folding chairs on the lawn. Summer Weill Hall + Lawn programming features a variety of artists representing Broadway, bluegrass, jazz, country, pop, cabaret, classical and comedy. Dining options are expanded during the Summer Weill Hall + Lawn season and include gourmet 3-course meals on the Dining Terrace, pre-ordered food and beverages and a variety of concessions including premium wines and beers. Patrons may also bring picnics to enjoy on the lawn either at table seating or on blankets and folding chairs.
