For Day 36 on our Countdown to NAMM 2017, we feature an electric violin created by 3-D printing techonology. The 3Dvarius was created by Laurent Bernadac, violinist and engineer.
He wanted to create an electric violin which could fulfill all the needs of a classical musician. The 3Dvarius was designed to facilitate the transition for all violinists from a classical violin to the 3Dvarius. Its dimensions can be personalized and adapted to any morphology. Check out a couple videos:
You can check out Laurent Bernadac performing with the 3DVarius in concert Wednesday, January 18th on the Sheraton stage at 9PM.
