When we were at the Shoreline date of Warped Tour this past month, one of the booths we were excited to stop by was the social art project Letters To The Universe. They have been spreading the word that everyone’s voice matters and deserves to be heard. In a time where, social interaction typically means texting, emailing, liking posts, etc we seem to forget to listen to the most important voice; our own. The simple act of writing out your message, hopes, wishes, dreams can be so rewarding. It gives a value to your voice and in turn a value to yourself. Letters to the Universe is doing just that, one letter at a time and maybe you might even get to put on some wings.
This year, Letters to the Universe were at one date of the Warped Tour but I hope they continue on and maybe next year, do the whole tour. So many people that day were helped by their presence there and I can only imagine what amount of good they could bring if they were on the entire tour!
