Los Angeles based indie/pop duo Strangers You Know are no stranger to the festival scene. It is their infectious feel good music that has them in high demand. The duo added two more stops to their 2016 festival circuit with back-to-back weekend performances at Coachella Music and Arts Festival, April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, CA, as well as BottleRock Napa Valley, happening May 27-29 in Napa Valley, CA. The band was also added to the Grammy Museum Homegrown showcase at SXSW, which will take place on March 18 at Tap Room at the Market. As previously announced, the LA group will also perform at the Hangout Music Festival, May 20-22, 2016 in Gulf Shores, AL, and the Firefly Music Festival, June 16-19, 2016 in Dover, DE. In addition to their festival dates, the band will play at the iconic Sunset Strip venue, The Roxy, on March 11th, in celebration of the release of their EP. Adam shares,
“Before becoming a band, we would both go to as many festivals as possible. Now it feels like a dream that we get to experience this magical event from the other side… literally.. on stage.”
‘STRANGERS YOU KNOW takes inspiration from many different sources, each member bringing their own color to the group. Adam, a native of West LA, and Grady, a Santa Barbara local, draw on many different influences ranging from folk rock, to pop, to electronica. Their sound represents everything that they’re feeling in the moment.’
