HOLLIS BROWN announces New York Residency each Wednesday in May at Berlin in NYC. In support of RECORD STORE DAY RELEASE VIA ALIVE RECORDS “CLUSTER OF PEARLS”
American rock collective Hollis Brown has announced a weekly residency for the month of May at downtown New York bar and venue, Berlin. Each Wednesday is dedicated to one of the bands’ past albums with special guests and surprises. Full tour dates listed below.
Following the success of their previous four releases, 3 Shots (2015), Hollis Brown Gets Loaded (2014, previous Record Store Day release), Ride On The Train (2013), and their self-titled debut (2009), Hollis Brown returns with the vinyl release of Cluster of Pearls this Record Store Day, April 16th. Their compilation was chosen as one of the 300 select releases throughout the world for RSD. The record will be pressed on Starburst Vinyl, limited to 800 copies and will feature four previously unreleased tracks and two songs released on vinyl for the first time.
Famed site, All Music, recently premiered Hollis Brown’s “Completed Fool.” Of the band, AXS has said, “Hollis Brown brings a combination of great songwriting and inspired musicianship to their music and live performance. American Songwriter once stated, “Hollis Brown knows how to write, arrange and churn out rugged, always tuneful rock and roll with a strong urban feel.”
