Formed in 1998 by Matt Tuck (vocals/guitar), the line-up of Bullet For My Valentine was completed by Michael Paget (guitar), Michael ‘Moose’ Thomas (drums) and recently Jamie Mathias (bass).
Since then the band released five studio records – ‘The Poison’ (2005), ‘Scream Aim Fire’ (2008), ‘Fever’ (2010), ‘Temper Temper’ (2013) and ‘Venom’ (2015) – with over 5 million copies sold worldwide. Inspired by their heroes Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer, the band is headlining the world’s biggest festivals and filling stadiums all around the globe today.
Since the release of ‘The Poison’, which reached gold status, the band meanwhile has some milestones to boast in their career: chart successes with Top Ten singles and #1 singles and records in the Rock charts, arena tours, key spots on the world’s biggest festivals and loads of awards, like f.e. the Kerrang Award three years in a row (2008-2010) and the two Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards as ‘Best Britsh Band’ (2006 and 2010), just to name a few.
After one year of intensive international touring and the release of their latest record ‘Venom’ in 2015, Bullet For My Valentine now decided to ‘tie the knots’ with Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records.
‘We’re very proud and excited to announce our signing to Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records. It feels great to be part of a family that truly believes in the band and is ready to take us to the next level. It’s been an incredible journey so far – but with the Search and Destroy / Spinefarm team behind us, it feels like we’ve just begun. Here’s to the future.‘ stated frontman Matt Tuck.
