METALCORE DROPOUT’S TOUR Coheadline with FIT FOR A KING & THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

The 49ers were playing in the Superbowl and we didn’t know what to expect at the Metalcore Dropout’s Tour as they were playing on Superbowl Sunday in San Francisco. The Tour featured coheadline with Fit for a King and The Devil Wears Prada, along with openers Counterparts and Avoid.  Well no worries because the place was packed as concertgoers were checking their phone’s before the first band hit the stage.  The energy was intense as the 49ers teetered on a win as Avoid hit the stage. But as the show started all eyes were on the band. Then as the 49ers loss was announced, the crowd knew what to do as they let out their rage and anger with the fiercest mosh pit!

Next up was the Canadian hardcore band Counterparts. We saw them a decade ago and they were every bit as energetic, if not more. They killed it and held us captive from start to finish.

The crowd was wild as the co-headliner The Devil Wears Prada hit the stage.  For a band with a 20 year history, they blew us away with their energy and how they commanded the crowd. You could feel the adrenaline race from the stage and fuel the crowd, from crowd surfing, to a huge circle pit, to moshing, it was awesome!

Last up was co-headliner Fit For a King and what can we say, except that they capped the night off with one of the heaviest and intense sets. They are known for their spectacular breakdowns, but witnessing it live takes it to a whole new level.  It was a non stop mosh pit from start to finish as everyone worked off steam and anger over the 49er loss. 49ers who? These bands had us fully consumed in the music!

We look forward to the next tour. Get out and enjoy some live music!
