The Classic Rock Roll of Honour 2014 will be held for the first time in the US

The Classic Rock of Honour is one of the most highly respected and anticipated music awards ceremonies will be celebrating its 10th year. This year the award show which is hosted by the UK based magazine Classic Rock Magazine will be held for the first time in the US at the historic nightclub Avalon in Hollywood. The rock and roll Hall of Fame inductee Sammy Hagar will be this year’s master of ceremonies. “The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour is one of music’s coolest and most prestigious events in the U.K. so I’m really excited to be hosting it for the first time in the U.S.,” said Sammy Hagar. “My goal is to keep it fun and filled with so many off-the-hook music moments that we put it on the map alongside the Grammys, VMAs and other awards ceremonies.”

Additionally, U.S. radio listeners will be able to vote on their Classic Rock radio stations’ websites, via a sponsored digital banner which will be made available by Krantz Media Networks, a division of Krantz Media Group (KMG) and digital partners TUNEGENIE and Classics Du Jour. AdLarge Media will be exclusively responsible for radio advertising sponsorship sales. Fans also can vote for their favourite Classic Rock radio station. Radio station winners will be recognized in the Major Market, Medium Market, and Small Market categories. More details on U.S. listener voting will be provided shortly.  Voting will close on Wednesday, October 22.
