Here we are at Day 90 on our Countdown to NAMM 2016. We wanted to bring you a Throwback Thursday for this day and would like you to check out our interview with dark alternative rockers September Mourning. We met up with them at NAMM 2015 at the Blackstar Amplification booth.
“Blackstar Amplification is based in Northampton, England. Their four founding directors are all musicians and have over 50 years combined experience in guitar amplification design and production.”
We had the pleasure of chatting with September Mourning and are pleased to bring the interview to you here:
September Mourning released their EP Volume I on October 2nd and recently wrapped up a successful tour with Mushroomhead. They are set to perform this Saturday at Aftershock Festival. We will be there to cover their set and hopefully bring you a new interview with these passionate on the rise musicians!
They have also recently released a lyric video for Eye of The Storm.

September Mourning has been perfectly described as ” Marilyn Manson and Lady Gaga had a kid, it would be September Mourning”. September is quite a passionate character as you will see by her character unfolding in the 12 song album. September explains,
“For me, the project is a story, a theatrical art piece,Music is the backbone, but for this to work, it has to include the imagery and the narrative all symbiotically linked into the whole. Music taps into your innermost being. There’s something very intimate and personal about it. “
