For Day 61 on our Countdown to NAMM 2017, we wanted to bring you our interview with the bad ass French rockers, BlackRain. NAMM brings musicians, retailers, and manufacturers from all over the world and it was definitely a highlight when we ran into BlackRain at NAMM 2015. Check out our quick chat with BlackRain:

You can check out their video for their song, Run Tiger Run (feat. Remi Gaillard and Giles Lartigot) new song, Back In Town which is off the new album.
The first time I heard BlackRain is when my son Rockin Ryan played Overloaded for me and I was instantly transformed back to my nights spent on the Sunset Strip in the ’80s. At first I thought I was listening to an old Motley Crue track!! Swan on vocals just blows you away with his powerful voice and he has perfected the high vocal ranges of the ’80s. They have some shredding guitar with off the hook riffs. This band brings back the passion of straight up rock and roll and added a dose of high energy for good measure! We had never expected to see them at NAMM but you never know who you may run into.
BlackRain is:
- Swan: vox/guitars
- Max 2: lead guitar
- MatH: Bass
- Frank F: drumz
