We continue on counting down the days to NAMM 2017. For 67, we feature NAMM GenNext! Check it out below:

What is The NAMM Show?

Each January, college music students and music faculty members are invited to attend The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, the global gathering of the music and sound communities.

This music industry event is the largest music products trade show in the U.S. and as a result has been the industry trend-setter in unveiling cutting-edge technologies; creating household product names; showcasing emerging brands; and uniting every segment—large and small—in the music products industry.

While The NAMM Show is open to the music trade only, college music students and music faculty members are eligible to attend The NAMM Show by registering for The NAMM Foundation’s GenNext program.

Who is GenNext?

GenNext is anyone currently enrolled in a college music program and college music faculty. Programming for GenNext is developed by The College Music Society (CMS) in collaboration with The NAMM Foundation. GenNext attendees are granted an exclusive, all-access pass to carefully curated CMS sessions; the tradeshow floor, featuring more than 1,700 music products exhibitors and 6,000 global brands; and all-day live music with more than 100 performing groups across the NAMM Campus. If you’re seeking a future in music, this is THE place to be!
To qualify for this exclusive GenNext opportunity, you must fit into one of the categories:

  • Current college music student studying music, music business, music technology or music education
