Minneapolis based band, The Way Away have recently released their second EP, Something I Never Wanted. The EP was recorded and engineered by lead guitarist Jeff Engler, mixed by Xander Moser at Treespeak Studios, and mastered by Paul Leavitt (I Call Fives, All Time Low). The EP lyrically focuses on struggles with depression and giving up on others or even yourself. While the lyrics have you reflect on your situation or those who have abandoned you, the music will lift your spirits up. They have released a video for their song, Six Feet Over which highlights their catchy music and upbeat vibe. Check it out here:
Their infectious sound will have everyone soon knowing The Way Away. They are in the running to play their local Warped Tour date and also look forward to touring in 2016. Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news and pick up their new EP.
