Memphis heavy hitters East Ov Eden just dropped their debut full-length album BOUNDLESS, and it’s an absolute monster of a release.
The band pulls from deathcore, technical death metal, orchestral elements, and even atmospheric melodies without ever sounding forced. One minute the album is crushing and chaotic, the next it shifts into cinematic layers and massive choruses. It honestly feels like they refused to put any limits on what this record could be.
If you’re into bands like All Shall Perish, Signs of the Swarm, or Cattle Decapitation, there’s definitely something here for you, but East Ov Eden still manages to carve out their own identity with the cinematic atmosphere and technical twists throughout the album.
Tracks like “…TO A MOONLIT GARDEN” and “PERPETUAL HORROR” show off how dynamic the band can get, while songs like “SOULWEAVER” and “IT ENDS IN FEAR” lean harder into the deathcore side with punishing breakdowns and nonstop aggression.
What makes this release stand out is how ambitious it feels for a debut. Instead of playing it safe, the band went all in on creating something unpredictable, emotional, and heavy as hell.
