Spotlight Artists: John and Joe release new infectious song, Honeyman

We are ready to bring the spotlight onto alternative duo John and Joe. The best friend songwriters John Doyle and Joseph Kashas are from Nashville and they have recently released an infectious new track, Honeyman. The song is the first single off their upcoming EP  which is set to release on July 1st.

The track is a catchy fun song that will have you tapping your toes and dancing around. Perfect song for your summer playlist! John describes the song,

The song Honeyman came together with a bassline Joe had been working on. We had been waiting to see when living in Nashville would start to influence us musically and it really comes out on this song. The guitar hook and solo especially show the influence this city has had on us so far. The song is about being in your early 20’s when it seems like nobody is interested in committed relationships yet feels very lonely most of the time. It’s about the ever changing belief of who your ideal partner is and the countless conversations we have with each other about that, hoping for clarity but usually never finding it. The song tells a story of two friends who end up becoming romantic but aren’t interested in committing to each other at all.
