The Last Dinner Party release new single “Big Dog”

Today, The Last Dinner Party released their new single “Big Dog,” a track that’s already become a standout favorite during their live shows. The song was co-produced by the ban, marking their first production credit alongside Animesh Raval. “Big Dog” leans into a darker, more intense art-pop sound with shades reminiscent of PJ Harvey. Alongside the single, the band also shared “Come All You Beasts,” a spoken word piece they often perform before the song during concerts.

Band member Georgia Davies explained that “Come All You Beasts” was created to introduce the mythic and storytelling themes that connect From the Pyre and “Big Dog.” She said the piece blends themes from the song with Bible passages, twisting traditional ideas about women’s safety. Drawing inspiration from poetry and performance art, the band felt spoken word and improvised music naturally fit their creative style. Fans can stream “Big Dog” and watch the accompanying music video now:

The band has also added more dates supporting Olivia Rodrigo after strong demand. Their residency now includes ten shows at Intuit Dome in January 2027 and ten performances at Barclays Center in February. Abigail Morris said the group was excited and honored to join Rodrigo for the residency, especially after previously opening for her at Hyde Park in 2025. She praised Rodrigo as an incredible performer and said the band is eager to reconnect with her fans in Los Angeles and New York.

In addition, the group will join Sombr for 14 dates on his U.S. tour. They’re also preparing to launch the second leg of their 31-date North American tour on May 19, with stops in cities including Vancouver, Los Angeles, Detroit, Nashville, and Atlanta.

Their second album, From the Pyre, is out now through Island Records. The project was recorded in early 2025 with Grammy-winning producer Markus Dravs, known for his work with Wolf Alice, Florence + The Machine, and Björk. The album follows their chart-topping 2023 debut, Prelude to Ecstasy, and reflects a band enjoying creative freedom while continuing to evolve musically after years of touring together.

After winning two Brit Awards, including Breakthrough Artist earlier this year and and selling out shows around the world, including three hometown dates at Eventim Apollo, The Last Dinner Party continue to build momentum as they are truly one of our favorite bands.  We look forward to catching them later this month and hope to bring you full coverage.  Check out the tour dates and get yourself to a show!
