We are very excited to announce that after nearly 10 years, UK’s Idlewild will return to the West Coast for a string of tour dates. There are planned stops in San Francisco, San Diego and LA as the band tours in support of their recent release, Everything Ever Written which is available now on Empty Words.
Vocalist Roddy Woomble speaks on the album’s importance to the band’s overall trajectory, sharing “[it] soundtracks a period of transition. Working without time constraints gave the whole thing a creative freedom.”Woomble adds, “Idlewild is a new band to me now; Im excited for the future.
The empathetic video for “Every Little Means Trust”, features How to Train Your Dragon star Jay Baruchelfollowing wanderlust across North London. Baruchel, an openly huge fan of the band, boasts that the group “soundtracked half his life” and proudly traveled over from Canada to make his appearance.
