Legendary Rockers AUTOGRAPH signs to EMP Label Group as they announce new album release

August 3, 2017

One of my favorite long time rockers Autograph have announced their signing to EMP Label Group. With the signing, comes the announcement that they will be releasing their new album GET OFF YOUR ASS on October 6th on CD and Digital, with a limited edition vinyl LP version available in November. Check out the news below: GET OFF YOUR ASS is the first official studio LP from the revamped quartet, featuring original/founding members guitarist Steve Lynch and bassist Randy Rand, alongside new vocalist/rhythm guitarist Simon Daniels, and drummer Marc Wieland. Lynch, an iconic guitarist, revered Worldwide as a bona fide guitar hero (known for his signature 8 finger hammer-on technique), reactivated the band in 2013 with bassist Randy Rand after reconnecting at the NAMM Show. After approaching original vocalist Steve Plunkett, who was unavailable for the reunion due to other business interests, with his blessing, the newly resurrected AUTOGRAPH recruited former JAILHOUSE vocalist Simon Daniels, the rest, as they say, is history. GET OFF YOUR ASS features an updated, hard-edged (and keyboard free) sound for the band, featuring down-tuned guitars, and the fiery, blues-soaked delivery of Daniels, [Read More]

Blackberry Smoke returns to Fillmore San Francisco. Blackberry Smoke Fillmore Show. They returned to San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore for a night of incredible awe-inspiring rock. They continue to garner high praise for their straight-up-no-frills rock n roll. Blackberry Smoke have successfully fused a blend of music styles and have cemented their infectious signature sound that has us all captivated. It is nostalgic yet timeless, it’s Southern Rock and smooth blues, country and rock combined. Whatever you want to call it, it is just DAMN FINE MUSIC! Their set had the crowd energized and mesmerized. We were hooked on the harmonies and captivated by smokin guitar riffs and sweet finger picking. You could gaze across the crowded venue to see everyone enjoying the show, with nearly no cell phones in the air. Everybody was truly “in the moment” and feeling the music. June 17, 2017

The Secret Sisters have released a very beautiful Father’s Day Tribute video for their track, Carry Me which is off their highly praised album, You Don’t Know Me Anymore. The video was produced by Mark Slagle and serves as a tribute to Laura and Lydia Rogers’ father Ricky Rogers (of the progressive bluegrass band Iron Horse). It features home video of the sisters with their father as well as clips of some of their friends’ families, which includes John Paul White (of The Civil Wars) and his children, combined with studio footage of album co-producers Brandi Carlile and Tim and Phil Hanseroth.
