Fozzy takes over the DNA Lounge in San Francisco

October 7, 2013

Heavy Metal Rockers, FOZZY have been touring with legendary Saxon and last night they had a stop here in San  Francisco at the DNA Lounge. This was the first time that FOZZY has made a San Francisco  appearance and they truly showed us what we have been missing!  They put on an incredible show. These five guys just have adrenaline running through their veins from the moment they step out on to that stage and give us 150% of what they got. We were excited to see them play, since back in August, we had the opportunity to talk with Chris Jericho about the Sacrifice and Sin tour. You can read the entire interview below or check it out here. We got there just in time to catch Halcyon Way as they got the crowd warmed up and ready to ROCK. We will tell you more about them under a separate post.  Then FOZZY started their set with my favorite song, “Spider in My Mouth” and that is the perfect song to get the crowd pumped. [Read More]

Heaven’s Basement highlights and interview from Aftershock Festival 2013

September 18, 2013

Aftershock Festival brought out a whole long list of great bands and one that I was truly looking forward to was Heaven’s Basement!!! We have been listening to them for a while and it was great seeing them at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in May. I couldn’t wait to see them live since they truly just rock with their hit single, “Fire, Fire“.   So when I saw them on the bill for Aftershock, I couldn’t wait to see them.   Well they took over the Ernie Ball stage and truly delivered an arena style performance. These young guys know how to ROCK and had the crowd instantly pumped! We had the opportunity to interview Aaron Buchanon – lead singer and Rob Ellershaw – bass. Here is that interview for you:   They are literally booked with non stop tour dates that has them busy until next year. Interview with John Waite – “Stay Well, stay in love, be happy, long life”

August 13, 2013

John Waite We had the chance to interview one of my favorite singer/songwriter, musician of all time…. The legendary John Waite.  I can’t remember when I first heard John, it had to have been as I stole my brother’s old Baby’s record and I think it was Broken Heart.  I don’t think I ever gave him back the record! I was hooked.  I continued to listen to The Babys, John’s extensive and successful solo albums and was a big fan of Bad English. A couple years ago, we had the opportunity to check out John as he played in support of his Rough and Tumble CD which I love. I am pleased to tell you that John has just released a LIVE CD; LIVE ALL ACCESS on his own label, No Brakes. It truly has exceptional sound quality and John again delivers a powerful CD that will have you playing it from start to finish. Here is our interview: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Music Junkie Press: [Read More]
