In 2020 the Canada based post-hardcore band Silverstein celebrate their 20th anniversary. What better way to do that than extensive touring.
A few months ago, the band announced tour dates for the UK and Germany. One of the London shows is already sold out, other shows will be following. Support act for those tour dates will be Hawthorne Heights. According to the band’s announcement, they will play their longest set to date. They will be joined by Mike Tompa (cello/violin/keys).
After that tour, they will be out on the road in the US and Canada with support acts Four Year Strong and I The Mighty. Ticket sale has already started.
All 20th-anniversary tour dates will have three sets – Greatest Hit set, Discovering The Waterfront (in full) set and a stripped-down acoustic set. For sure something special, so don’t miss your opportunity in 2020.
Silverstein’s latest full-length record Dead Reflections was released in 2017. In April 2019 the band released ‘REDUX: The First 10 Years’. It’s a collection of 12 all-new recordings of songs from the band’s first decade. The record was self-released via their own record label.
In June 2019 Silverstein announced that they have signed to UNFD worldwide. The first release on the new label was a brand-new song – Burn It Down, feat. Caleb Shomo from Beartooth:
Silverstein also contributed a song to Hopeless Records’ compilation ‘Songs That Saved My Life Part 2’. They covered Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Disarm’.
