One of our favorite sets of the year was not at a large festival, stadium venue, world tour events. It was at the intimate venue The Independent in San Francisco last week. We were heading out to cover BabyJake on the SF tour stop and were happy to see that Kyle Rising was an opener.
We watched several of his Doors covers via Instagram and couldn’t help but be in awe of his uncanny resemblance to Jim Morrison and the amazing vocals to match. One thing is certain, although you might have been introduced to Kyle through his Doors covers, it is his own style and songs that will keep you a longtime fan. His music and vibe brings a nostalgic nod to the 70’s, all while his alluring voice delivers pure perfection with rich tones that hold you captivated.
