STIGMA Share Second Chance (Deluxe US/Export Edition) as Touring Plans Take Shape for 2026

There’s something quietly powerful about a band that knows exactly who they are and isn’t trying to be anything else. German melodic heavy metal/dark rock band STIGMA are continuing to carve out their own space with the release of Second Chance (Deluxe US/Export Edition), which is an expanded global edition that opens the door to new listeners while staying true to the heart of the band.

Formed in Germany in 2021, the band has quietly built a world where melody, shadow, and emotion coexist. Their music lives in that in between space balancing melodic heavy metal with a dark rock edge and where vulnerability doesn’t weaken the sound, it strengthens it. If you’ve ever found comfort in the moody romanticism of HIM, The 69 Eyes, Volbeat, or Type O Negative, STIGMA’s songs will feel like familiar company.

On June 4, 2025, STIGMA released their debut album, Second Chance, a record that is rooted in reflection, resilience, and the idea that broken things don’t need to be fixed to be meaningful. Now, with Second Chance (Deluxe US/Export Edition), the band is extending outward, opening their story to listeners far beyond their home borders.

At the heart of STIGMA are four musicians moving in quiet unity: Gerald Zinnegger, whose vocals and lyrics carry equal parts darkness and hope; Markus Mantau on guitar; René Chlebnitschek on bass; and Bernd Paptistella behind the drums. Early releases like Last Order and First Call hinted at what was coming, but Second Chance is where everything fully came into focus.

That connection has traveled farther than the band ever imagined. Their music now reaches listeners in more than 100 countries, resonating deeply with fans in places like Brazil and Mexico. The response has been so strong that STIGMA is currently planning a U.S. Midwest tour for July 2026, with South American dates to follow later in the year. Online, that growing bond is reflected in a steadily expanding global community.

STIGMA’s message is simple and brave: don’t hide your scars. Embrace them. Their fans—known as the Stigmaniacs—understand this deeply, finding pieces of themselves reflected in the band’s music.

Sometimes a second chance isn’t about starting over.
Sometimes it’s about finally being seen.

Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their upcoming tour dates.
