Grammy nominated Casadee Pope releases her new album, Hereditary

July 12, 2024

Grammy nominated, Platinum certified singer songwriter Cassadee Pope has released her album, Hereditary. Cassadee captured America’s heart as one of The Voice’s winners. The album signifies her shift from country music and takes her back to her pop punk roots and we are all here for it! Cassadee comments about the album, “This album follows my journey of self discovery so closely that I feel a little nervous to share certain things. But I needed to let it out. Creating this album was like a 2 year therapy session that continues to be there for me even after its completion” She has released a video for her track, More To Me. The song is an empowering emotionally driven track that is all about taking your power back from someone who wronged you. The song takes you a journey of how grudges can lead to toxicity and how freeing it is to let go and move forward. Cassadee shares, “I remember feeling this weight lifted off my shoulders when I stopped letting anger consume me. The [Read More]

Gibson introduces Jason Isbell “Red Eye” collector edition

June 5, 2024

Introducing a Collector’s Edition clone of Jason Isbell’s famous ’59 Les Paul, “Red Eye.” “Red Eye” was the long-time sidekick of Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd. After Ed passed away in 2018, six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Americana artist Jason Isbell purchased Red Eye and often features it in his stage and studio performances. Only 59 of these exceptional instruments have been handmade by the expert luthiers of the Gibson Custom Shop and Murphy Lab in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of this extraordinary Collector’s Edition run. An Illustrious History  Like many ’59 Les Pauls, “Red Eye” has a unique and illustrious history. Much of the red color on the top faded while displayed in a store window, except for a patch below the toggle switch that was covered by a hangtag. Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd purchased it in 1982 and nicknamed it “Red Eye” after its distinctive appearance.      You can watch a video where Jason Isbell talks about how he fell in love with Red Eye: Catch Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit on tour now, [Read More]

Photo gallery: Novelists, The Word Alive, Elwood Stray and Ashen in Munich

March 3, 2024

Last week quite an international line-up came to Munich. We had two bands from France – Novelists and Ashen, one from Germany – Elwood Stray, and The Word Alive from the US on stage at the Backstage Halle. The show had an early start at 7 pm and ended at about 10.20 pm, which is perfectly ok, since it was Monday which might not be the most popular day for a line-up of 4 bands. Nevertheless, all four bands played great sets. Enjoy the pictures and see for yourself. Ashen Ashen have no new tours announced so far, just some single dates. Make sure to check out their social media for updates. Elwood Stray Elwood Stray do have some festival participations announced. Keep yourself updated via their social media/homepage. The Word Alive The Word Alive will be joining Asking Alexandria and Memphis May Fire on their tour through the US. Make sure to get your ticket(s) HERE.
