It is definitely one killer album filled with high energy tracks and a great display of musicianship by these five guys.  Drummer Dom White had this to say of the release,“We’re so excited to finally unleash Dearly Departed to the world! This album is all about living life on the edge, picking yourself up no matter how many times you get knocked down and partying like there’s not a care in the world. September 22, 2014

The UK bad ass band, The Family Ruin are just hours away from the release of their album, Dearly Departed on KBB Records.  The album officially releases in the US on 9/23 and 9/29 for Europe.  This is one album that we have been so excited for you to all hear. It is definitely one killer album filled with high energy tracks and a great display of musicianship by these five guys. The Family Ruin have really been garnering a lot of well deserved attention since singing with KBB Records, the new record label of Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce and co-manager Kyle Borman. The Family Ruin have a very fresh new sound complete with hard and heavy riffs blended with infectious harmonies, where they blend their metal and alternative influences with melodic hard rock. There is something for everyone in their sound. Think about a mix of Avenged Sevenfold with Escape the Fate. Dearly Departed is definitely a must have album. Watch Heaven’s Basement new music video for Lights Out in London

September 18, 2014

UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement have released their music video for their straight up Rock track, Lights Out In London.  The song is off their highly acclaimed Filthy Empire album which is out on Red Bull Records. The song is one of my favorites as it really highlights how these four talented musicians know how to kick ass and bring the life back in to Rock n Roll. They have had quite a year with extensive touring and we can’t wait for them to return to California. Check out their new video here: Their song Be Somebody was announced as the theme song for the 2014 Red Bull Air Race. Guitarist Sid Glover even took to the skies for a test flight with one of the pilots. It looks like a lot of fun. You can check out their song Be Somebody and even get a free download of it from Red Bull Records:   Make sure you have your copy of Filthy Empire, you can pick it up on Itunes,  Amazon, and their online store.    We have had the [Read More]

September 2, 2014

Devin Townsend has announced details in regards to his new long awaited double album. The album titled Z² is set for release on October 28th in the US and October 27th in Europe. The Z² project also will have him performing a landmark show at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall on April 13, 2015. Tickets are available for this enormous show from www.kililive.com. Here is what Devin had to say,  “Hey all!  So it’s been years I’ve been trying to get the energies in line to do another Ziltoid record, and it’s finally happened! Z2 is my new record, and it’s a multimedia event that has taken a ton of people a ton of effort to bring to you! It’s a double album, (one side DTP, and one side Ziltoid) and the concept expands on Ziltoid the alien, and his sci-fi adventures in a way that kind of throws back to 50’s radio plays… but obviously with complicated, heavy music as its soundtrack. It has taken a great deal of energy to put this all together, and the music is [Read More]
