Progressive indie duo All Human release free download of I’m Afraid

April 5, 2016

Progressive indie duo All Human  have released their new album, Teenagers, You Don’t Have to Die and they are offering a free download of their song, I’m Afraid by heading over to Idobi Radio here. Vocalist Andy Fisher comments, “That is the first song I ever wrote fully on piano. I was quite excited. Its a very simple progression, but Id never really done that before. Lyrically its just about feeling like you’ll never get to do all the things you want to do. When writing i just kind of locked myself away all day every day and was feeling that isolation. It also preys on the whole nostalgia thing. Missing running around in the woods and catching snakes and climbing trees. We grow up and lose touch with some of our values we held when we were kids.” Brian Ferrara comments on the song, “I feel like having that isolation from each other when tracking our ideas in our demos brought out what we were both feeling in the time-frame we had done everything,” says Ferrara. Miggs will have you reminiscing about that one break up that defines you

February 24, 2015

Miggs have hit it out the park with their new song, Moving On which is the second of their B-side tracks.  The emotionally driven pop rock style song takes you on a storytelling journey through a break up, but in no way is another sad breakup song. Instead, it is infectiously catchy, rich with raw emotional vocals and a melody that will remain long after the song.  It reminds me of another infamous “breakup” song Missing You by John Waite. It completely grabs a hold of you as it nestles into your memory bank and you can relate to that one break up where it was more than moving out, it was Moving On. It is delicious in lyrics and I really love this track and I hope you do too! You can pick up the song as a Free Download by visiting here: http://t.co/QMvmpySOfg Make sure you also pick up their incredible beautiful track, Heart of the Unknown which is available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/heart-of-the-unknown-single/. December 17, 2014

Ok, let’s face it we all love pop music. I have interviewed many bands over the years and I always ask them they question of “What song or artist is in your Ipod that would surprise us?”. Yes, even the hardcore,  metal and punk bands will answer with a catchy pop song and I love their honesty in their answers. Yes, we love pop music, it is feel good music that is simple and enjoyable. I would like to introduce you to Mickey Cupid which features Marcus Harmon and Matt Nannetti. Mickey Cupid bring their refreshing electro-pop sound to life in their infectiously melodic track, Oh You. They have just released a video for the song and you can check it out here: This song was a collaborative effort,” explains Marcus, describing mainly the songwriting but also harkening the transcontinental makeup of the band – Marcus in NYC and Matt in Belgium. “We both split the lyric and melody writing.
