State Line Empire to play at the Whisky’s 50th Anniversary Party!

One of the hardest working bad ass rock bands of California is set to play the legendary Whisky-a-Go-Go’s 50th Anniversary Party. That band is one of my favorite bands, State Line Empire! The best part is the party is on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 right during the NAMM 2014 show. We will be down there busy covering the NAMM show and checking out the latest and greatest in the music industry so it will be a long week. The highlight will be seeing State Line Empire on Saturday! I love new releases of music. What really gets me excited is when I have a band that I found just by them being an opening act for a headliner and have them become one of my favorite bands. It is the excitement that I get when I got to a show and not know anything about the opening bands and then be treated to a true gem of music. That is what happened several years ago as I watched State Line Empire open up for Steven Adler’s then titled band, Adler’s Appetite at the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco.
