Alter Bridge release video for new single “Addicted to Pain”

I have been waiting for the new Alter Bridge album!! The new album titled “‘Fortress” is set to be released on September 30th in the UK, October 1st in Italy and October 8th in the United States. Hey I may have to fly to London for my copy early! They also released their single, “Addicted to Pain” last month and I have been playing it every day!! Lzzy Hale and Tom Keifer perform “Nobody’s Fool”

Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, I listened to a LOT of ROCK n ROLL. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s was the Philadelphia based blues rock band CINDERELLA. I went to many of their concerts to just to hear the raspy, distinctive gritty voice of Tom Keifer. His vocals were incredible and always drew me to their music. Tom had suffered some nodules on his vocal chords and at one time, left him unsure if we was going to ever be able to sing again. Tom has succeeded in treating his issues with his vocal chords and continues to amaze us with his powerful and amazing voice. Ashland Belle is “Bringin Country Back!”

When I think of Country Music Buffalo, New York is not the first place or even the 10th place that comes to my mind. But after taking a listen to the amazing new band, Ashland Belle, that has all changed. Ashland Belle has only been a band since late last year and have already created a big buzz with their new refreshing country/rock music. As David Guy, the band’s lead vocalist and co-songwriter explains, “We blend today’s Alt-Country with the traditions of old Southern Rock and Country music’s past.” They recently released their appropriately titled album, “Bringin’ Country Back” and I am loving every song on it. Butcher Babies release video for “Magnolia Blvd.”

BUTCHER BABIES release their video for “Magnolia Blvd.” and it is definitely one to watch! This is their first music video from their debut album, “Goliath” and was directed by Daniel Gomez (EYES SET TO KILL, BUCKCHERRY). I love the concept behind the video and I appreciate the fact that it didn’t have an overly gorey scene which seems to be so prevalent in today’s musici scene. For our Tuesdays Travels, I wanted to bring you a band that is not only from Australia but is also one of the bands that will be playing at the upcoming Aftershock Festival on September 15th. You may already know about this band since they have been getting tremendous airplay over the summer. Our Tuesdays Travels pick is none other than AIRBOURNE! AIRBOURNE is an intense hard rock band formed in 2003 in Warrnambool, Australia and started by two brothers, Ryan (on drums) and Joel (lead vocals and lead guitar) O’Keefe and David Roads (on rhythm guitar and backing vocals). They were later joined by Justin Street (on bass guitar and backing vocals). These four guys have been rocking all over Australia and New Zealand for years and have had quite a following.
